Newbury Management Company d/b/a Newbury Living is required to collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from employees and tenants in order to perform essential tasks and functions of its business. Newbury Living does this in accordance with federal, state and local statutes. PII data is retained as prescribed by law throughout the tenancy and/or employment, and post-application, post-move-out or post-employment. Newbury Living does not sell, rent or give away the personal information of its current or former employees, residents or applicants. Newbury Living may securely share tenants’ personal information with a third party, but only for the purposes of background checks, payment processing, or necessary reporting to federal, state and local housing authorities when and where required by law.
Text Messaging (SMS)
When you give Newbury Living a mobile phone number, whether on a rental application, inquiry or contact form, lease, resident portal, or by contacting us directly, you agree that Newbury Management Company d/b/a Newbury Living may send you text messages at that number. Messages may be about your inquiry or application, your lease and account, rent and payment reminders, maintenance requests and scheduling, notices about your community, and emergencies. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You’ll get one confirmation text and no further messages unless you opt back in. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your number may be shared only with service providers that help us send messages on our behalf (such as our property management software provider) and as described above. All other categories of information exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
